Sam and the team are pleased to welcome you to La Perle!
You may remember Chef Sam from when he represented Milford-on-Sea in the TV series Professional Master Chef a few years ago. He has recently returned to the village and is now the proud owner of his first restaurant, La Perle.

As a young chef, Sam trained under Raymond Blanc, who continues to follow Sam’s career closely and has been a positive influence on him over the years. It was during his time spent with Monsieur Blanc that Sam developed his passion for seasonal dishes made from locally sourced produce.
The result can be seen in the menus, where everything is made from scratch in the restaurant, from the bread and butter to the ice creams and sorbets. The New Forest is a key source of many of Sam’s ingredients with over 90% of his produce sourced from sustainable suppliers in Hampshire and Dorset.

Our beautiful restaurant overlooks the village green and is only five minutes walk from the seaside.

The New Forest is a key source of many of our ingredients including foraged goods. Over 90% of our produce is sourced from sustainable suppliers based in Hampshire and Dorset.
Our fish and seafood is delivered fresh daily direct from local fishermen. Scallops, Lobster, Cod, Skate, Sea Bass and many more favourites are on the menu.
We make everything from scratch in the restaurant from the bread and butter to the ice creams and sorbets. The menu will be completely governed by the British seasons and what we can source locally.
We have sourced local beers, wines, sparkling wine and even water! We infuse our own spirits, so expect to see ‘Nettle Gin’ or ‘Quince Bellinis’ on the menu. We are also working with local ‘Conker gin’ and ‘Black cow Vodka’ both based locally to Milford.

The three finalists are deemed to offer an incomparable dining experience, everything from the ambience to the service and most importantly the food. They support local producers and offer local as well as international wines.

Please contact us by phone to enquire about making a reservation.
Please note that we are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
