You may remember Chef Sam from when he represented Milford-on-Sea in the TV series Professional Master Chef a few years ago. He has now returned to the village and is the proud owner of his first restaurant, La Perle.
As a young chef, Sam trained under Raymond Blanc. It was during his time spent with Monsieur Blanc that Sam developed his passion for using locally sourced produce in his dishes and The New Forest is a key source of many of Sam’s ingredients.
The New Forest is a key source of many of our ingredients, with much of our produce being sourced from sustainable suppliers based in Hampshire and Dorset.
We have sourced local beers, wines, sparkling wine and even water! We are also working with local ‘Dancing Cow Gin’ and ‘Black Cow Vodka’ both based locally to Milford.
La Perle is the only restaurant in Milford-on-Sea to be featured in the new Dorling Kindersley Eyewitness Travel Guide to England's South Coast! You will find us in the 'Where to Eat and Drink' section on page 187 of this popular publication, where the listings have been '...carefully chosen and feature some of the very best places to eat...'
The three finalists are deemed to offer an incomparable dining experience, everything from the ambience to the service and most importantly the food. They support local producers and offer local as well as international wines.
